Carbon-carbon brake disc preform is a porous carbon fiber skeleton, the core substrate for producing C/C composite brake discs.
It is manufactured by stacking, weaving or needling carbon fiber fabrics into near-net shape. The preform retains interconnected pores for subsequent carbon densification process.It has excellent high-temperature resistance, low thermal expansion and stable friction performance after densification.
