Our continuous carbon fiber reinforced polypropylene sheet, also known as CF-PP thermoplastic composite sheet or CFRTP sheet, adopts polypropylene (PP) as the base resin and continuous carbon fiber as the reinforcing material. It is manufactured by advanced hot melt impregnation and laminating pressing process, without thermosetting epoxy resin. Unlike traditional thermosetting carbon fiber panels that cannot be remolded after curing, this thermoplastic composite material can be reheated, softened, reshaped and thermoformed repeatedly. It is recyclable and environmentally friendly, which is a major advantage for modern lightweight manufacturing.
The material owns a balanced combination of mechanical properties. It has high specific strength, high specific modulus, outstanding impact resistance and crack resistance. When subjected to impact load, it absorbs energy effectively and is not easy to shatter like brittle thermoset carbon plates. It also has good chemical resistance against acid, alkali and most organic solvents, low water absorption rate, stable dimensional performance, low thermal expansion coefficient, excellent fatigue resistance and long service life. The surface of the sheet is smooth, flat, with uniform fiber distribution and consistent thickness across the whole panel.
We support fully customized parameters for customers. The carbon fiber content, fiber laying direction, thickness, length and width can be adjusted as required. We can supply unidirectional reinforced CF/PP sheets and multi-directional cross-laminated CF/PP sheets to meet different load requirements. The finished sheets are easy for secondary processing, including CNC cutting, punching, drilling, bending, hot stamping, riveting and bonding. It can be directly processed into finished structural parts without complicated high-temperature curing procedures, greatly shortening the production cycle and lowering manufacturing cost.
This CF/PP thermoplastic sheet is widely used in many industries focusing on lightweight and environmental protection. It is commonly used for new energy vehicle battery protection covers, battery module support plates, automotive interior and exterior lightweight structural parts, truck and van compartment panels, logistics transport pallet boards, industrial equipment protective housings, automated equipment brackets, drone structural parts, outdoor sports equipment and leisure products.
